ckport-database software package provides portability analysis and security checking tool (Database files), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ckport-database
ckport-database is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ckport-database package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ckport-database *
You will get with ckport-database package name, version, architecture and description in a table
